📍Circolo Restaurant at the Palatine Centre

Experience a little taste of Italy at the Circolo Restaurant! With a new menu each day, Circolo serves delicious pizzas and pasta for everyone to try, including a speciality Pizza of the Day, Arancini of the Week, and 2-slice deals!

📍Fusion Restaurant at Mill Hill Lane

Offering a large range of mouth-watering hot and cold food, you can find this gem inside Durham University Business School. Enjoy a hot breakfast sandwich to fuel your morning and return for one of their hot daily specials for lunch! Handmade sandwiches are also available on artisan breads, and jacket potatoes with multiple toppings.

📍Riverfront Bistro at Waterside Business School

Riverfront Bistro offers a wide variety of delicious hot lunches, boxed salads and jacket potatoes, which you can pair with a tasty treat from their cake selection and a cup of Rounton's brewed coffee.

📍Zing Kitchen at the Teaching and Learning Centre

Located on South Road, Zing Kitchen offers delicious hot food, including paninis and ciabattas, hot jacket potatoes with tasty fillings, and a variety of salads and cold sandwiches. To complete your meal, choose from a wide selection of hot and cold drinks and tasty confectionery treats!

📍Botanic Garden Café, Gift Shop and Gardens

Not only do you have your morning caffeine fix sorted with Botanic, but you also have a gift shop and 10 hectares of beautiful woodlands. They have a range of hot and cold sandwiches, soup of the day and a delicious selection of cakes, all available with the hot drinks menu! The café is a lovely space to come and relax or catch up with friends, with plenty of seating inside and out. The garden provides a perfect spot for an after-lunch stroll after browsing some nature-inspired items in the gift shop.

📍Calman Café at the Calman Learning Centre

Visit the friendly team at the Calman Centre Café, serving up an extensive Starbucks drinks menu. From refreshing iced teas to a classic latte, there is a drink here waiting for you! Their new range of sandwiches is ready in the grab-and-go fridge, including gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and halal options. If you fancy something warm, they have you covered with delicious soups, toasted breakfast muffins, and paninis.

📍Café and Clubroom @ Maiden Castle

Located within our Sports and Wellbeing Park, the café has recently been relaunched, offering your favourites from Caffé Nero! All the hot drinks you would expect are ready to serve, alongside a wide menu of hot and cold sandwiches, salads, soup, cakes, protein-blended drinks, and snacks to keep you going.

📍Chemistry Café

A hidden gem few people know about, Chemistry Café is open during term time and serves a range of hot and cold sandwiches, paninis, soup, cakes, and handmade pastries (Phat Pasty Co.) made straight from Cornwall to keep you going. The hot drinks menu will have you covered, from their best-selling latte or cappuccino to hot chocolates or refreshing iced drinks - the choice is yours!

📍Mathematical Sciences & Computer Science Café

Join us for a Fairtrade Latte with perfectly steamed milk, rich espresso, and a delicate foam topping at MCS Café. Alongside a selection of Starbucks drinks, they also offer packaged sandwiches, paninis, and a variety of on-the-go snacks.

📍Small Island Coffee at Bill Bryson Library

Small Island Coffee is the perfect place for a study break and prides itself on a wide range of packaged sandwiches, fresh and toasted sandwiches, salads, snacks, and pastries to suit everyone!
